The Hunger Games is an upcoming science fiction action-drama film directed by Gary Ross and based on the novel of the same name by Suzanne Collins. It stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, and Woody Harrelson. It will be released on March 21, 22, and 23, 2012 in France and some other countries, as well as on April 20, 2012 in Spain, and on April 30, 2012 in Venezuela. It is scheduled to be released on March 23, 2012 in both conventional and IMAX theaters.
